My name is Darkhijav (Darkhia) Damba
A little bit about me: I graduated from a fine arts university where I was trained as a professional dancer and graduated with a major in stage/theatre makeup. I traveled the world as part of the national Mongolian dance troupe and eventually landed in San Francisco. For the past 20 years, I have been the lead makeup artist for an Arts & Entertainment Special Events Group called Velocity Circus. I have even done makeup for actual Cirque de Soleil performers about to go on stage!
While doing the stage/theatrical work, I also translated my experience into Beauty & Fashion and Wedding makeup…after all “All the world is stage!”.
I have had the good luck to work with some wonderful wedding parties, a sparkling array of television personalities, professional keynote speakers, and corporate events for companies such as Warner Brothers, Netflix, and the SF Symphony.
My expertise will guarantee you look and feel your absolute best!
MY STORY
I'm a seasoned global performer; I began my performance career in Mongolia as an ethnic/folk dancer. During that time, I recognized the power of makeup and hair to transform and enhance my look on stage. I knew then that I wanted to take my passion to the next level and make a career out of it.
On my life’s path as an artist, I've continued to master theatrical and glamour makeup. I bring years of professional experience, having moved from Mongolia to pursue my dreams in the beauty industry. My skill and talent allow me to get a unique touch to every project I work on.
Now, I use my skills to help others express their unique beauty. I offer a wide range of makeup and hair services to help you look and feel your best. From weddings and special events to photoshoots and more, I will help you look and feel absolutely stunning.
